Lynn Russell’s 2015 season updates

The season’s tally at the end of May has risen to 20 wins, 4 championships and two reserve championships to date. My novice cobs and novice racehorse have between them accounted for 12 of the wins and one of the championships. The other championships going to the more experienced horses. The HOYS qualifiers are getting underway and I’ve had an early success with Cleaghmore Boy who has qualified for HOYS in the coloured Native/Cob/Traditional > 148 cm.

I now have a full complement of RIHS qualifications:

  • Wolf – HW Cobs
  • Cappa Sham – Maxi Cobs, Coloured Nat/Trad/Cobs
  • Volantis – LW Cobs, Coloured Nat/Trad/Cobs
  • Cleaghmore Boy – HW Cobs, Coloured Nat/Trad/Cobs

Both racehorses have qualified for their national finals:

  • Dorton – RoR Jockey Club Novice Championship
  • Decimate – RoR Tattersalls Show Horse Final
