Directions for use
- For peak condition use all year round in order to supply essential nutrients, which may be deficient in pasture or forage.
- Suitable for use in the stable or field and can be used in conjunction with a rubber tyre, a hanging manger or hard-wearing holder.
- When feeding more than two horses additional buckets may be required to help discourage bullying.
- Consumption will be influenced by the number of buckets per head, other feeds available, age of horse and proximity to water.
- Estimated daily consumption up to 400g per head. Ensure ad-lib roughage and water are
always available. Can be fed to foals. - Do not feed to sheep.
- Protein: High in naturally sourced protein to support muscle build and repair, healthy skin and coat, and colostrum development in mares. Provided from soya which is a rich natural source of the essential amino acid lysine.
- Minerals, trace elements and vitamins: SUPAlyx are full of all the essentials required for good skeletal growth, strong hoof structure, energy metabolism, a healthy immune system and much, much more.

- Molasses: Turns this feed into a convenient, labour saving, weather-proof lick which is palatable and allows for the more natural ‘little and often’ approach to feeding. Contains less molasses than other cooked molasses licks.
We having been using the original SUPAlyx on my connemara gelding, Biggs. We used the lick during the winter when the grass was lacking nutrients and continued to use it throughout the year. The SUPAlyx was a great source of nutrients to balance his diet. I loved the design, especially the handle as it made transport around the yard simple as the it distributed the weight well. There was very little mess and big smiles from Biggs!! For me as an owner, I like to keep Biggs on a low sugar and natural diet where I can so the SUPAlyx was a better choice in that respect compared to competitors due to the nutritional value. I definitely recommend :)

Here are a few photos I have managed to find of dear 30 year old Calerux Comet Welsh Section D stallion (Rodney as he is to me at home) with his much loved licks. As you know he has suffered many gut, limb and lung issues but he definitely gets benefit from his licks, it gives him a nice coat and deff prevents his coughing x

Wow! This lick is fabulous 😍 it is amazing for keeping the horses diet balanced as-well as giving them a little treat! I 100% recommend this to anybody and it has suited my horses so well especially throughout this winter ❄️ ☺️

It is honestly the perfect complimentary supplementary lick, perfect if grazing or forage is lacking in nutrients, especially in winter 🥶. These licks last for weeks, and are weatherproof too, meaning they can be left out in the field in all weathers and you don’t have to lug it inside at the sighting of a single raindrop in the fear it’ll turn to a gloopy mush like most other supplement licks! Total essential for our yard now, we have one in every stable!
