Michelle King with Casius and VIP Hoof Builder

These are photos of my horses front feet.

His name is Casius and he is a 5yr old TB that raced as a 2yr old. I bought him in January and shortly after, started him on  VIP Hoof Builder.

My farrier describes his feet as typical TB feet with flat thin soles and thin walls. He has been very difficult to keep shoes on (he has a massive over track and is a twit in the field) therefore I had his shoes removed 4.5 weeks ago.

Although he has been quite footsore as he goes through his transition to barefoot, he has suffered very little breakage and no cracks. His nail holes have grown out in this very short time and as you can see from the photos, there is some really good quality foot growing.

I am feeling confident that he will be able to remain barefoot and will continue to feed VIP Hoof builder.
