Shake well before use.
Patch test 48 hours prior to application if you have not used a D.E.E.T based product before or if horse is sensitive skinned.
Spray evenly over the coat but be careful not to saturate. If horse or pony is nervous of sprays apply to a cloth or sponge and wipe over the areas required.
For best results apply early in the morning before turnout and before heat of midday sun to allow the formula to dry and seal the hair. Avoid direct contact with mucous membranes. When fly infestation is very heavy, re-application may be required more frequently.
Avoid contact with broken or irritated skin. Not recommended for use under saddles, fly rugs or fly masks as may cause irritation.
Key ingredients: DEET – N,N-Diethyl-M- Tolumide, P-Menthane 3.8-diol.
I was very lucky to win a huge bottle of Nettex Fly Repellent from Griggs Equestrian and I couldn’t be happier with the performance of the product. I have a very young horse who really isn’t keen on any sort of sprays at all and so I have been applying this fly repellent directly to a cloth and wiping over him which he doesn’t seem to mind at all and it is kind to his sensitive skin. It has a pleasant smell and keeps the flies away for hours. Really impressed and will definitely purchase again in the future!

Honestly the best fly spray! My horse is an old boy with very sensitive skin and this fly spray does it’s job amazingly and doesn’t irritate him one bit! It also smells amazing too.

Last year I was lucky enough to win a 500ml bottle of Nettex Fly Repellent Standard Spray via a giveaway through Nettex Equine and Digital Horse. As it becomes warmer the flies are starting to come out, then out comes the fly spray! I really like using this spray on Biggs as it is suitable for horses and ponies with sensitive skin as well as containing moisturisers and conditioners. This spray was rated 8/10 by Horse and Hound in 2019 but I rate it 10/10! During the summer Biggs can get really itchy on his mane and tail so it is important that I find a fly spray we both like.
